Armed and Unarmed Security Guards

APSI specializes in recruiting, training, and staffing highly-qualified security officers to protect and secure local, state, and federal government property. Our guards are trained to make customer service a priority. Private Detectives and Investigators

Background Checks: We peform a complete "profile" through several resources and within budget for each case. We find criminal histories, marriages/divorces, property ownership, civil law suits and more. If you have doubt regarding the background of a potential business partner, employee, spouse or significant other, there is often "something" which we need to explore for you! Surveillance: We normally conduct our surveillance efforts in several 2-4 hour sessions over several days to allow us to maximize the coverage of a subject without wasting our client's money. We won't just "sit there" in one location all day long without good reason or when nothing important is being observed. We usually take digital still photographs initially to send our clients and then obtain videotape if anything "interesting" is observed. We offer written reports of our effort along with hard-copy photos/videotapes that can be sent through regular mail. We have the capability to perform surveillance operations just about everywhere in the U.S. and in many foreign countries so no matter where your subject is located, let us know!

Divorce Cases: Most people generally know what we can do for divorce cases. We conduct surveillance efforts to see if someone is cheating, financial checks to see if they are hiding money/assets, and background checks on people that are involved in the situation. Even if you only suspect that a spouse or significatn other is being unfaithful, let us know. We can promise you they will never realize they are being investigated, under surveillance, etc.

Emergency
Response

When there is an emergency, it is VERY important that our personnel know what they are expected to do! Therefore, we have fully armed our guards with the correct information in order to protect people and property from serious injury or harm and damage. Our guards are trained to apply the following evaluation techniques to emergency situations:

          • Describe alarm-warning characteristics (visual & audible)
          • Intermittent sound with white strobe lights
          • Evacuation procedures: Leave facility via primary evacuation route

          • Non-Medical emergency contact

Marked / Unmarked
Vehicle Patrol

To assist in the prevention, deterrence and detection of vandalism, theft or safety-related incidents, our trained patrol officers patrol your property in clearly marked vehicles when your business is closed. If we find evidence of criminal activity, we notify local law enforcement immediately via our 24-hour dispatching capabilities.

 

Visitor
Escort

We are capable of providing escort services for your visitors, service vendors and senior executives throughout your facilities, from parking lots to offices. Escorts carry radios and maintain constant contact with patrol officers.

 

Access
Control

Our console operators monitor CCTV, access control, fire detection and intrusion detection systems. We also monitor visitor arrivals and departures, coordinate with officers on patrol, and respond to routine and emergency situations for our clients.

Our personnel will restrict entrance to a property, a building, or a room to authorized persons only.

 

X-ray
Magnetometer

Our personnel are trained to staff a walk-through metal detection system to keep weapons out of any facility. They will inquire as to suspicious items to include opening and searching suspicious containers or searching individuals carrying items that activate the metal detector; secure contraband weapons and assist law enforcement in taking appropriate actions. They enforce client visitor policies and ensure only authorized access to the facility while maintaining security in the waiting areas of the facility.

 

Alarm
Monitoring

When your alarm system sounds, our monitoring station alerts a response team to go to your facility and investigate. We provide the following types of alarm response:

          • Fail to set alarm: If you leave your facility and fail to set the alarm, the monitoring station will contact us and our officers will activate your alarm.
          • Unscheduled opening: If your business opens outside of normal working hours, our officers will ensure that the disarming of your alarm system has been authorized.
          • Intrusion: We will investigate alarms that are caused by burglars or intruders
          • Manual panic: When your alarm system is manually activated, the monitoring station will notify local law enforcement immediately.

Workers' Compensation Fraud & EEO Investigations

Workers' Compensation Fraud Investigations: Employers, claim adjusters, third party administrators, and self-insurers use our workers' compensation fraud investigation services to assist in identifying fraudulent claims. Our unique, detailed reports are easy to read, and accurately reflect our professional effort and surveillance results.

Our investigators can conduct covert physical surveillance nationwide at any time in virtually any type of environment. Using cutting-edge technology such as night-vision generation 3 lenses, GPS, wireless recording systems and other types of electronics, we are often able to overcome the most challenging conditions and capture video or still photography.

The assigned investigator will video record suspected workers' compensation fraud activity as it occurs, in a legal, non-intrusive manner that protects everyone’s right to privacy. We gather necessary evidence and work with appropriate personnel to offer remedies that may include criminal and/or civil actions.

When conducting any covert surveillance investigation, our investigators pay special attention to all state and federal statutory restrictions, invasion of privacy issues, and private sector liability for unlawful surveillance (civil & criminal liability). Stress Analyzer

Our Voice Stress Analysts are well-trained and capable of measuring stress in a person's voice as an indicator of deception.

The human voice contains telltale signals that betray a speaker's emotional state, like the intent to deceive. By analyzing small, often inaudible changes in the voice and visually displaying them on a computer screen, the techniques recognize not only veracity, but also a gamut of emotions ranging from anxiety to arousal. With the Computer Voice Stress Analyzer, subjects are asked several control questions, like the color of the walls, to gauge normal vocal response levels. During the questioning, the interviewer/analyst sees the computer's interpretation of the responses immediately, and is able to decipher the charts generated by the computer.
